I am honored to be the principal at Villas Elementary School.
I taught for 11 years before becoming an administrator. Before becoming principal, I was assistant principal for 8 years (2 years at Three Oaks Elementary and 6 years at Tanglewood Elementary).
My wife and I are the proud parents of three boys (ages 3, 7, and 9) and a daughter (almost 1 year old).
At Villas we strive to educate each and every child to have P.R.I.D.E. in and out of the classroom. P.R.I.D.E. stands for: Positivity – Respect – Integrity – Determination – Excellence
We WELCOME you as an integral part of your child’s success at school. Listening to your child read, helping with homework, volunteering your time and talents, and being an encourager are some of the ways you can help us to make a difference at Villas Elementary.
We are a phone call away: 239-936-3776.

I have proudly served as the assistant principal for the past five years at Villas Elementary. By joining the Villas team in 2009 as the Primary Specialist, I supported administration, teachers, and worked with the parents, as well as the community. Being an Ohio native, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Akron, and completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University.
As I relocated to the Fort Myers area eleven years ago with my daughter to pursue my love for education as an elementary teacher, I recognized that The School District of Lee County would provide a number of opportunities for both myself, and my daughter Brittany. With my parents living here already, I knew what the area had to offer. Making the move to Florida has proved to be a positive life experience for my family.
Outside of my school life, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and vacationing abroad, as well as within the United States. It is easy for me to say that I am proud to be a member of the Villas team and strive to make every day a great one.
